Winguard EI
Electrical Insulation Coating for Electric poles

Winguard EI - is an advanced polymeric composite coating for metal surfaces, ensuring up to 15 kV insulation and protection against shocks caused by system failure or leakage currents. With a multi-coat application, it provides electrical insulation, corrosion resistance, and strong anti-microbial properties. The coating offers distinct color coding for rapid identification, making it a versatile solution for enhancing safety and performance.

Problems we solve
- 1.
Safety Hazards:
Exposed uninsulated conductors pose high electric shock risk, especially in public areas due to accidental contact. - 2.
Short Circuits:
Lack of insulation increases the likelihood of short circuits, leading to equipment damage and potential fires. - 3.
Fire Hazard:
Uninsulated wires and components can cause sparks and arcs, escalating the risk of fire outbreaks. - 4.
Corrosion Risk:
Uninsulated poles exposed to moisture and air face accelerated corrosion, shortening their lifespan. - 5.
Operational Delays:
Equipment failures resulting from inadequate insulation can lead to constant operational downtime and disruptions.

Features
- 1.
Comprehensive 4-Coat System:
WINGUARD EI features 4 layers, including primer, nano-enhanced body coat, and 2 insulated finish coats. - 2.
Strong Bond, Corrosion Resistance:
The cross-linked catalytic coating bonds quickly, fights corrosion, preserving infrastructure like towers and supports. - 3.
High Electrical Insulation:
Infused with insulating nanofillers, it has excellent electrical insulation, enhancing safety and preventing flashovers. - 4.
Long Performance Life:
Lasts 5-7 years, guards against current spills, and boosts safety in various environments. - 5.
Visual Appeal, Antifungal:
Maintains color, prevents growth of algae and mildew, and ensures a clean and reliable finish.

How to Apply
- 1.
Surface Preparation:
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease, oil. Remove prior coatings. Remove rust and scales. - 2.
Primer Coat:
Mix the primer components (A:B = 1:4) using a mechanical mixer. Apply 2 coats, each 70 microns thick, with 4 hours between coats. - 3.
Top Coat::
Mix Top Coat components (A:B = 1:4) using a mechanical mixer. Apply 2 coats, each 50 microns thick, with 4-5 hours between coats. - 4.
Drying and Curing:
Allow a 24-hour cure after the final coat for the best results.

Case Studies
Leading Municipal corporation
A leading municipal corporation faced a challenge with their outdated electrical insulated mats, which required frequent maintenance and posed safety risks. To address these issues, they decided to invest in our electrical insulation coating floor coating, replacing traditional mats with a modern and efficient coating solution.By choosing to replace their traditional electrical insulated mats with an electrical insulation coating solution, the corporation improved safety and reduced their maintenance overhead. The project showcases the effectiveness of modernizing electrical insulation practices in critical infrastructure.
